This Drilled KBr (Potassium Bromide) 38x19x4mm cell window is soluble in water and alcohol. Slightly soluble in ether. Fairly good resistance to thermal & mechanical shock. Hygroscopic.

KBr has a working wavelength range of 48,800 - 388 cm-1
