Best-in-class Stirring Power


The OHS 200 Advance is the ideal solution for demanding applications operating with viscosities up to 100.000 mPa.  The electronic controlled brushless motor of the OHS 200 Advance stirs up to 100 l  with a maximum torque of 200 Ncm, and ensures the longest lifespan. 

SpeedServoTM torque compensation technology keeps the speed constant automatically adjusting to viscosity changes. 

Thanks to the two speed gears it provides the best performance for both high torque and high volume operations:
  • Speed gear 1: 6-400 rpm
  • Speed gear 2: 30-2000 rpm 

Constant torque at any speed


The brushless motor and the microprocessor guarantee excellent performance marking the difference between a conventional overhead and the VELP OHS Series.

The torque is stable at throughout the whole speed range, ensuring stirring at maximum torque even at the highest speed. This is a very important parameter for the reproducibility of your tests.

Precise torque measurement is available in the dedicated section of the display and you can a monitor in the real-time graph the evolution of the torque power during your test. 

SmartChuck: shaft accommodation has never been so easy!


The OHS Advance SmartChuck™ technology simplifies the shaft accommodation process that can be carried out even with one hand and does not require any tool, making your life easier.

With two simple operations, you can unlock the protection ring to drive the shaft in and out with maximum ease.

The opening of the ring during the stirring process will automatically block the analysis and the instrument informs you for maximum safety.
 

Intuitive and precise


The OHS 200 Advance intuitive 3,5” TFT Display will guide you to precisely set your working conditions and get reproducible results. It shows the main information at a glance together with torque measurement on display for real-time information on viscosity change with a resolution of 1 Ncm. 

Interact with the OHS Advance from the real-time graph showing speed, torque and temperature of your test.  

The OHS 200 Advance works unattended thanks to the timer settable from 1min to 99.59h. Define and program your operating methods that are ideal for demanding tasks where ramps and interval operation are required.
 

Keep Temperature Under Control


The OHS Advance comes with a Pt100 temperature probe included in your package.

Constantly monitor the temperature of your reaction and set the instrument to reduce speed or interrupt the task if the temperature reaches a defined value. This is important when you want to avoid that exothermic reactions will interfere with your analysis!

Smart Connectivity for Maximum Control

The OHS 200 Advance offers advanced connectivity options that make stirring operations smarter and more efficient.

With the Velp Ermes cloud platform, you can monitor and control the overhead stirrer remotely from any device, at any time. Configure stirring parameters, set timers, launch saved methods, and download or share reports with just a click.

For laboratories that prefer local management, the ControllerSoft™ software provides a reliable alternative. Via USB connectivity, it enables real-time monitoring, data-logging, and easy visualization of stirring, temperature, and torque trends directly on a PC. Experimental data can be saved and exported for further analysis.
